Role Overview
As a Software Development Engineer at BrowserStack, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain systems and applications.
- Work in an agile engineering team to plan and deliver technical projects.
- Collaborate with engineers across teams to create scalable solutions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of development tasks.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and launch of key product features.
- Solve real-world production issues effectively.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong programming skills in at least one language: Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C/C++.
- Knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking, and deployment processes.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ (preferred).
- Ability to work on both Windows & Linux platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Internship or practical software development experience (6 months – 1 year).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
